PROVE maintains canonical vendor and product records with capabilities, deployment, privacy, security, integrations, analytics and geographic availability. Every material fact carries an evidence class, confidence, source and last-checked date.
Tier logic
Vendors are ranked on canonical tier and, separately, on tier within each relevant category. A category-specific Tier 4 record cannot downgrade a higher canonical tier.
- Tier 1
Core benchmark vendors. Broad evidence base, strong reference base, mature product.
- Tier 2
Established alternatives with proven deployments and clear differentiation.
- Tier 3
Specialist or adjacent vendors that fit specific use cases.
- Tier 4
Internal research queue. Held out of default customer recommendations until approved.
- Unclassified
Requires manual review before appearing in results.
Evidence classes
Every claim about a vendor sits inside one of ten evidence classes. PROVE never marks a record Human Verified automatically.
