HMS is moving further up the building-automation stack with a proposed acquisition of hotel-focused BMS supplier ROBOT
HMS Industrial Networks announced a cash delisting offer to acquire ROBOT S.A., a Spanish supplier of sensors, room controllers and building-management systems focused on hotels. Shareholders representing 77.69% of ROBOT's share capital have irrevocably undertaken to support the transaction. HMS describes the deal as a way to extend its Building Automation position beyond HVAC connectivity gateways into a broader hotel-controls offering; settlement is currently expected around 1 December 2026, subject to the stated conditions and delisting process.
